We used a coupon. The king room with a fridge, microwave and 37" TV was very large, clean and comfortable, however the bed was very hard! I like a hard bed but this one was too hard. There was a big shower stall in the bathroom which drained well - no tub. The 'hot' breakfast was adequate with hot choices of round egg units and sausages as well as the usual bagels, toast, cereal, etc. . My husband and I would definitely stay there again. There is not much in the way of dining options nearby but if you go along the Avalon Parkway (turn north on the first street to the west of the hotel) and drive up a couple of miles to Hampton St. (SR 20) there are several dining options. There is an elevator and there are wheeled luggage carts.
this is the 2nd time i have stayed at the sleep inn in mcdonough, georgia. it is a clean, quiet hotel that is really a 3 star hotel at 2 star prices. our non-smoking room with king bed was $55.00 plus tax. room is well-appointed with premium bedding and nice shower(no tub) that my girlfriend enjoyed. the free hot breakfast was good. looking forward to staying here again.
Right next to the interstate. Lots of truck traffic. Not very clean. non English speaking housekeeping staff constantly knocking on the door in the morning to clean the room hours before check-out. They will walk right in if you don't have the door bolted.
Christmas Eve with heavy fog, and barely readable road signs made finishing our jouney home unsafe. So stopped for gas, and behold, this hotel was next door to QT. The front desk clerk got us checked in quickly and she was very friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a wonderful night's sleep. The included breakfast the next morning was a plus, nothing fancy, but enough to get us started safely and on a full stomach the rest of our journey home. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel and it was very nice and clean the employees were friendly and always kept my room neat although I prefer a bathtub not a shower but I still would stay here again on my next trip
We were traveling late at night and needed somewhere to stay. When we pulled up, there was about a foot of black water in the pool, which should have been a red flag for us to run, especially because it was the middle of summer. This is the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in and I would not recommend it to anyone. The room iteself was in horrible condition and smelled like stale cigarettes mixed with body odor. There were stains on the walls, carpets, fixtures, as well as, all other visible surfaces. We did not even want to set our luggage down, but eventually settled on the dresser and chair. The sink and tub were covered in hair and were crumbling. The towels and washcloths literally looked like rags that had been used to scrub a filthy bathroom and were then hung on the rack.We did not use either and made due with what we had brought with us. There was no soap or any other toiletries so I was grateful we had brought our own. After all of this, I wasn't surprised to f
Called from the road to check rate.. $69; asked if they would honor a motel book coupon of $49, and was told yes. Friendly, fast check-in. Room was excellent; free breakfast was adequate. No extra for pet. Enclosed pool if you need one for kids. Convenient to Interstate, gas pumps, both fast food and local restaurants nearby. Would stay again.
Very clean,great staff,wheel chair ready.nice morning meal
Staying here after 4 nights in a Microtel was even more cramped. I hate a hotel that charges for a 3rd adult in a room and then says that is for the free continental breakfast. And then it is agrivating when this breakfast is a couple slices of bread and a muffin or two, 2 crappy types of cereal and a couple old looking apples. I would rather reject the breakfast ability. And then when you ask for a rollaway, you are charged an additional $10. Not accomidating at all. I guess it was an OK stay, as the beds were comfy.
We were traveling home from florida to cleveland and decided to stop outside atlanta a little early so we could enjoy an indoor pool. Upon check in we were greeted with a very friendly gentleman who was eager to please. However nobody told us the pool was closed. Looked like the pump was broken or something and they had a pool closed sign on the door. So the only reason we chose to stay there was thwarted. The hotel in general and the rooms were clean and in relatively good condition. The carpet in our room needed stretched so there were ripples everywhere. The toilet dripped onto the floor(clean tank water not waste water) and upon inspection i found it looked like whoever installed it had dropped it and broken chunks off and put some caulk in the holes they made. Because of the drip we got to hear the toilet run every 20 minutes. The lady at the front desk in the morning seemed receptive and claimed she would have the maintenance guy fix it, but whether it meant a new toi
