El servicio de este hotel realmente es inmejorable. Muy bueno y exquisito. Tiene todas las comodidades que uno pueda querer.
Easy check-in. Desk clerk was helpful finding a nearby restaurant. Rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of places to recharge all your electronics. Pool was well maintained and convenient. Coffee is available all day. The large breakfast room has plenty of seating. Great variety of breakfast choices and fresh fruit – always appreciated.
I would without question recommend this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I could go on but when I'm looking at these reviews these are the two things I'm mainly looking for and I give this hotel a high rating.
Nice location, nice place, nice breakfast, nice staff. We enjoyed our stay. It's close to the Michigan lake, the Indiana dunes are fabulous, you should visit the area. There are nice towns in the surrounding area, festivals, food, shops.
The hotel is a typical Hampton Inn. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, adequate breakfast, etc. Being a typical Hampton Inn meant that there was no control of the air conditioning fan. It only ran if you asked for more heat or cold. I live in on a very busy road and find that a fan kills the external noise. The hotel, though some distance from the highway, has a seemingly busy road outside. The railway, even though it is over 2 miles away, is very busy - day and night. Those trains certainly whistle. The fan would have helped suppress the noise. The hotel cannot do anything about the cause of the noises. However, they could do something to reduce its effect.
The Hotel was a little hard to find. Staff was great and the room was nice and clean. No concerns -- the breakfast was ample. Felt safe and secure. Not much around hotel for food to eat. Beds were awesome...fast internet. No concerns would stay again at this Hotel.
Well kept hotel. Good quiet location. Obviously recently remodeled. Staff was helpful and friendly especially the breakfast staff. Even though all rooms were sold out when we were there, it never seemed crowded or noisy.
The staff of this hotel is Cold & unresponsive to the needs of its patrons. During online booking I had clearly requested for a porta-crib, again during the check in I emphasized the need for it. And yet we had to go through an ordeal before having one installed in our room at around 11 PM. Also in general barring a handful, the staff of this hotel was cold & unwelcoming. I am not sure if it was because we are people of color or if it is generally the case with this hotel. Even broadest of smiles didn't elicit any reciprocal from the people standing behind the Counter. They stood there listless with glum stuck on their face. To add to our miseries knowing fully well that we were traveling with a baby (critically ill) we were given room next to the Maintainence area. Overall it was our worst couple of days ever spend. On the plus side their pool is fairly well maintained and their breakfast is sufficient.
We stayed at this hotel this past weekend for a quick trip to the Dunes. The rooms were nice, and the beds were really comfortable. The warm pool and good breakfast were a plus. What really puts this place over the top is the wonderful service. Everyone from the cleaning ladies, to the front desk person, to the breakfast lady, were really nice. They all seemed like they enjoyed being there. If you are visiting the Dunes for a short visit, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I booked 2 rooms here for a funeral a few weeks ago and our experience was okay. Here are the pros and cons of our stay. Pros: Staff tried to meet all requests and take care of us, healthy breakfast options, treadmill and elliptical were REALLY nice and we were even given our own earbuds for the machines, amazing bed, good location... Cons: Not as good of breakfast as other Hamptons (no eggs!), the elevator kept breaking down...my hubby actually got stuck on it with some other guests, and my mother who has a breathing disorder had to take the stairs, pool water all over the main hallway and in front of the elevator ( the floor was very slick), staff wasn't the most friendly we've come across, and then there were a few issues that the hotel really can't be faulted on, but our floor was extremely noisy until about 2 am and someone had smoked in our room before arrival. When I called down to ask for another room they quickly remedied the situation with the smoke. Overall I would stay again.
